Finding Homes for Retired Racing Greyhounds

As you all are aware, the COVID-19 virus is now a global pandemic.  Although most people can recover from this virus without too many complications, there are many who have low or weakened immune systems that cannot risk being infected due to the severe or deadly outcomes.

With that being said, for us to ensure the safety of ALL of our volunteers, we will be canceling all scheduled Meet & Greets until further notice.

We do not want to put any of our volunteers at risk.  Even if they can recover, they may be around others who cannot fight this virus.

This was a hard decision, but we felt this was best for our hounds and our humans!

Since our Meet & Greets are small “fund-raisers” and we will not be hosting any in the near future, we would like to ask (for anyone who is capable), to please consider sponsoring a greyhound (or 2), or just simply making a small donation, whenever possible.  Both can be done through our website. Any amount you can spare would be greatly appreciated in helping us continue to care for the greyhounds we have in foster care at this time.

Be safe, stay healthy, and we will hope we can get through this global situation soon and get back to our normal routine.

Thank you all so very much for your understanding!

A Meet and Greet is an opportunity to meet these beautiful hounds and learn more about them. Volunteers bring their own retired racers and there is often one or more foster dogs in attendance.
